Community Invited to Help Keep Polperro Harbour Looking Its Best

The Polperro Harbour Trust is inviting residents and visitors to lend a hand at its Harbour Clean-Up on Saturday 18th July.

The clean-up will begin at 1.30pm, with volunteers meeting at the slipway before heading out to collect litter and tidy the harbour. Participants are asked to bring gloves and any useful gardening tools, while rubbish bags will be provided. Whether people can spare an hour or the whole afternoon, every helping hand will make a difference.

The Harbour Trust thanks Dave Peate Waste for kindly offering to dispose of all the rubbish collected. As a small thank you to volunteers, biscuits will also be on hand to keep everyone going. Anyone planning to attend is encouraged to let the organisers know in advance to help with planning – find the event on our facebook page:
