Polperro Water Carnival Returns to the village

Polperro Harbour is set to come alive this Saturday, 19th July, as the much-loved Polperro Water Carnival makes its return.

The organisers have planned a great program! The day kicks off at 9:30am with a Children’s Treasure Hunt, followed by a bracing sea swim with the Mad Maids at 10am. From there, the action moves onto the water, with highlights including the lively Sculling Relay Race and the Miller and Sweep event.

At 1:30pm, the ever-popular raft race gets underway – a great opportunity to cheer on the creative and courageous teams taking part. The fun continues with the traditional three-legged race, promising laughs and a touch of chaos.
