Remembering Fay Cowan

The Trustees are saddened by the passing of Fay Cowan, our honorary President, whose lifelong support for the Harbour and its work will be fondly remembered.

The Trustees were very saddened to hear of the passing of Fay Cowan, our honorary President. Polperro born and bred, she maintained a keen interest in the Harbour throughout her life. She was very pleased with the recent purchase of the Fish Van and always offered supportive comments to the Trustees.

They say that behind every great man is an even greater woman, and Fay was fully supportive of her husband Bill’s many achievements with the Harbour Trust. We will miss her very much.
